Middletown man arrested during traffic stop
MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – A Middletown man has been arrested following a traffic stop in the town of Wallkill.
State Police arrested John Meyer III, 31, after finding a loaded pistol and drugs in his car. According to police, Meyer scratched off the serial number on the pistol and was in possession of three-and-a-half grams of cocaine and a small amount of heroin.
Meyer has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Town of Wallkill Court and was sent to Orange County Jail.
