Man arrested breaking into education building
MONTICELLO, N.Y. -- Police arrested a Monticello man who they say broke into an education building. Police say they received a report of a burglar alarm going off at the Sullivan County BOCES building in the village of Monticello around 2 a.m. Monday.
Police say Eric Ivan, 27, was found on the second floor of the building and tried to run from police. Police used a Taser to stop him. Police say he was found with a backpack that had stolen items inside.
Ivan was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
