HUDSON VALLEY -- The newest state rankings for boys and girls basketball are out and three local teams are in the top five.

On the boys side, in Class B the Marlboro boys' basketball team is ranked fifth in the state. The Dukes are 6-0 on the season.

In Class C, Pine Plains remains in the second overall spot in the state. The Bombers have a record of 7-2.

On the girls side, the Wallkill girls' basketball team is in the second spot in Class A for the second week in a row. The Panthers are a perfect 8-0 on the season.
