ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A missing elderly woman has been found safe and sound in Orange County. The 81-year-old woman disappeared in the town of Crawford Thursday morning.
The Bullville Fire Department responded to the call, and say they found her alert and talking. Fire officials say it is was a quick two hour search, but weather was major concern.
"It is cold, wet, icy, so there are slip and fall issues. It is windy, so when they found her, she was wet. So, kind of an issue being elderly," said Capt. Katie Jedson, Bullville Fire Department.
The woman was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
