HUDSON VALLEY -- After months of service changes, all trains on the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines are back up and running.
Beginning on Monday, seven additional trains are running for the first time since Superstorm Sandy devastated the region. The two lines, operated by New Jersey-transit, serve a large group of Hudson Valley commuters, and Metro-North President Howard Permut says he is happy that service is back to normal.
"We are very gratified that our operating partner is able once again to operate a full complement of trains to serve our New York State customers," said Permut.
