Four teens arrested for robbery
NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Four teenagers were arrested after police say they robbed and beat a 21-year-old. It happened around Thursday afternoon on West Parmenter Street.
Police say four teens approached the victim, demanding money and a phone before punching him multiple times and hitting him with a broom handle. Police say the teens then took cash from the victim's pocket and ran.
The victim was taken to St Luke's emergency room for multiple cuts to his face and head.
Two 14-year-old boys and one 15-year-old boy were arrested and charged as adults with robbery. A 13-year-old boy was also arrested and charged as a juvenile.
