TROY, N.Y. -- RPI's next game is a big one even though it doesn't count toward the standings.

The Engineers are taking on Union at the Times Union Center on Saturday. The teams are battling for the Mayor's Cup.

RPI has a ton of momentum right now. They're coming off a four point weekend, beating nationally ranked Cornell and Colgate.

Freshman goalie Jason Kasdorf was very good in between the pipes and for that he's been named ECAC Rookie of the Week. He had 33 saves on Friday night against Colgate and 34 on Saturday against Cornell.

Kasdorf missed six games with an injury, but got back out on the ice this past weekend. He is 4-1-2 on the season.
