GREENE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Imagine what this weather is like for people who have to work in it! We caught up with some people who work at Hunter Mountain in the cold and windy weather. They say the key to staying warm is to layer up, but some also say they actually enjoy being outside.

"Plenty of thermals, proper socks, good boots, hand warmers, hat, scarf, you name it. I layer up for sure," said Kerrie Hocks, Hunter Mountain Lift Operator.

"It's the best time of the year to be out. I feel sorry for people that will be watching the weather man and they say it's chilly, the wind chill factor. It’s great to be out to ski. I said the other day it's delightful. When it's this cold, we're making snow, it bounces off you and you're skiing on the best snow you could probably have," Hunter Mountain Manager David Slutsky said.

Well, definitely good news for skiers and snow boarders, eager to hit the slopes.
