COLONIE, N.Y. -- The Soldier On organization received a hefty furniture donation to their new facility in Colonie. Truckloads of used furniture were donated to the Albany County Veterans Resource Center.

The donation came from BBL Hospitality, which acquired the furniture after renovating the Residence Inn hotel in East Greenbush.

Soldier On is an organization that provides local veterans with supportive services and case management.

"So our program allows us to pays some rent, pay for some support services and now, we're able to really increase the beauty of their life and the quality of life with this wonderful furniture that's being donated by BBL Hospitality," said John Downing, Soldier On President/CEO.

The non-profit organization provides services in 40 counties across New York State.
