Michael Wallender, 62, was found in the woods off of River and Rosendale Roads.

Niskayuna Police say Wallender was reported missing on Friday. They have not released a cause of death.

On Saturday afternoon, YNN received reports of heavy police activity around the area where Wallender's body was found.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death, and are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
