GREENE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Catskill man is facing several charges after State Police say he had sexual contact with a minor more than a year ago.

Police say Daniel Medici, 52, re-established contact with the child through Facebook and tried to lure the child away from home. He has been charged with two counts of criminal sex act, sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and attempt to lure a child to commit a crime.

Police say additional charges are pending.

Medici was arraigned and sent to Greene County Jail.
