Zero to 50 - that's how much the temperature jumped in a week. Our Megan Cruz spoke to people eager to enjoy this warm-up.

ALBANY, N.Y. -- "Earlier I said I should go home and put my bathing suit on!" said Albany resident Mango Brown.

Well it's not that warm, but after the weather we've been having, 50 degrees is a welcome change. Especially for Brown, who's a window washer.

"It's much easier for me to do windows at 54 degrees than two below!" said Brown.

What's also easier with Wednesday's warm-up: walking with our four-legged friends.

"He likes to roll around in the snow," said Kevin Bishop from Albany. "I prefer nice sunshine, high grass."

Bishop also prefers a cleaner car.

"What a mess has been building up over the winter I tell you," he said.

Another person eager to give his car some attention: Daniel Davey. He says the mercury rising means a busy day of errands.

"Catching up on things I have to do outside, like checking my tires and doing things like that," he said.

But a downfall of this warm-up and having no snow or ice is you've got all this mud.

"Even though it's muddy, we're still going to be out," said Albany resident Emily Carol. "Just happy to not be cleaning my car off!"

But don't put away your snow brushes just yet. Forecasters foresee more seasonable temperatures this weekend.

"Hoping the weatherman is wrong and this warm weather keeps coming," said Bishop.
