SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A woman was arraigned in Schenectady on several felony charges including attempted murder and assault.
This weekend, police arrested 18-year-old Desere Shaw in connection to a stabbing that left a cab driver critically injured. Officers received a call from the injured cab driver just before 7 p.m. Thursday, telling them he'd been stabbed.
Police say the incident happened near Eastern Avenue and Nott Terrace, but the cab driver walked to Liberty Street, to get help at the library.
The driver was airlifted to Albany Med, where he was last listed in critical condition.
