ALBANY, N.Y. -- The UAlbany women keep racking up wins and awards. The Great Danes are riding a 12-game win streak.

To sweeten the pot, Shereesha Richards just picked up her sixth America East Rookie of the Week award. The freshman forward lead UAlbany with a game high 22 points and six rebounds against UMBC on Wednesday. Richards followed that up with a six point, four rebound effort at Maine on Saturday.

Richards is the highest scoring freshman in the conference, averaging 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds a game. She leads the league, shooting 60 percent.

The Great Danes visit Hartford on Sunday.
