POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The nonprofit group Walkway Over the Hudson is looking to break another Guinness World Record. The group opened registration this week for people to sign up to be a part of a long line of participants stretching over a mile long, wearing iconic “I Love New York” t-shirts.

The group is hoping to register 3,000 contestants by May 4th for the event that will serve as one of Walkway Over the Hudson’s primary fundraisers for 2013.

Just last year, the group broke the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest line of dancers doing the Hokey Pokey, drawing more than 2,500 participants.

To be a part of the world record attempt, you can register online at www.walkway.org.
