SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Folks in Schenectady will be going door-to-door taking the pulse of their neighbors in need.
The U-Matter program consists of more than 30 organizations that provide healthcare, social, and educational services in the county.
Participants will go door-to-door and sit down with residents to discuss their community needs.
Organizers say the goal of the program is to get a better understanding of the city’s unmet health and social needs in order to do a better job of meeting those needs and addressing those problems.
The survey begins today and runs for the next 12 weeks.
