SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Greenfield woman convicted of animal cruelty was back in court after prosecutors say she was keeping horses on her property in violation of her sentencing order.

Ann Arnold was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail Monday evening until all the horses are removed from her property. Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy says she removed 11 horses off the property, but three remain there.

Back in May of last year, Arnold was convicted of 19 counts of animal cruelty and sentenced to three years probation after 19 malnourished and neglected horses were found on her property. Part of the sentencing meant she was unable to have horses on her property for three years.
