Dancing for a good cause
It's all about dance at South Glens Falls High School this weekend. Starting Friday night, hundreds of kids are taking part in a marathon dance, all in an effort to raise money for a good cause. Erin Vannella has more.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- Hundreds at South Glens Falls High School are strapping on their dancing shoes for a full 24 hour long marathon dance.
The event is in its 36th year and has raised millions for over 200 causes and people in our community over the years.
Some of the beneficiaries of this year's event include Bailey Wind and Matt Hardy, two teens that were seriously injured in a crash on the Northway.
The event's coordinator says with all the bad news involving teens, it's good to get the word out about something positive.
"I'm proud to see what kids can do. There's so much negative in the world. So when you see these kids come together, there's nothing better,” event coordinator Jodie Sheldon.
At the end of this month, the SHMD Travel Team will be returning to Richmond, Virginia for the sixth annual Deep Run Marathon Dance.
The school actually has a stream online, so people at home can watch that dance live from their computers. You can click on the link below to watch.
