COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A missing Copake man was found dead early Friday morning in a wooded area.

Roger Moody, 77, was reported missing on Thursday when he did not attend a dinner party Wednesday night in Hillsdale. Late Thursday night, police received a tip about vehicle lights that had been seen Wednesday night at an unoccupied home. Columbia County Sheriff's patrols found Moody's car stuck off the drive way at the home.

Deputies searched the wooded area with a K-9 and found Moody's body.

Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious and that Moody may have experienced a medical problem.
