SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- Students at South Glens Falls High School pulled through in a big way this weekend, raising nearly half a million dollars during their annual Marathon Dance.
While dancing their feet off for 24 consecutive hours, the students were able to raise a grand total of $489,716.27! That beats last year's total by more than $94,000.
Dozens of organizations and individuals around the Capital Region will benefit from the proceeds of the dance. Students at South Glens Falls High have raised more than $3.5 million for different causes over the past 36 years.
