NEW YORK -- A baby delivered after his parents died in a Brooklyn hit and run has died. This, according to a community spokesman for the Orthodox Jewish couple.

The parents were taking a livery cab to the hospital to deliver their baby late Saturday night when they were struck by a BMW. The driver of the BMW left the car and took off.

Nachman and Raizi Glauber, both 21, were pronounced dead at two separate hospitals.

The baby boy was delivered at Bellevue Hospital before succumbing to his injuries.

The driver of the cab is in stable condition at a hospital in New York City.
