BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- The Greenfield woman who was convicted of animal cruelty is expected to be back in court this evening to be sentenced for violating her sentencing order.
Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy said Ann Arnold removed 11 horses from the property, but three remained. She faces up to a year in jail and must stay on probation.
Last May, Arnold was convicted of 19 counts of animal cruelty and sentenced to three years probation after 19 malnourished and neglected horses were found on her property.
Part of the sentencing stated she was not allowed to have horses on her property for three years.
