NATIONWIDE -- Last month was the worst February on record when it comes to gas prices, but relief may soon be on the way.

According to AAA, the national average of a gallon of regular is now $3.75 a gallon, which is down two cents from last week.

Maintenance work on oil refineries across the country was a factor in the rising prices, but that work has since come to an end.

AAA said drivers in Albany can expect to pay $3.92 a gallon, which is down three cents from last week. Drivers in Pittsfield are paying $3.75. Analysts predict prices will decline over the next four to six weeks.
