Former Red Cross employee facing stalking and harassment charges
ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former American Red Cross employee has been arrested after police say he sent sexually explicit images to a girl whose information he obtained at a blood drive in Ravena.
Although the girl requested he stop contacting her, police say Reynaldo Higgins, 30, continued contact over a four day period. That's when the girl alerted officials at her school, who contacted the police department.
Higgins was arraigned on aggravated harassment and stalking charges. He was sent to Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Police say Higgins, who'd been working for the American Red Cross for four months, was let go when the charges surfaced.
