SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Siena women are one step closer in their quest for a MAAC title.

The Saints faced off against the Fairfield Stags in their first round game. The Saints came out on top, beating the Stags 52 to 48.

Lily Grenci scored 17 points while Colonie grad Tehresa Coles scored 8.
