COLONIE, N.Y. -- Albany International Airport could be among those impacted by the sequester.
The Federal Aviation Administration said control towers could close and overnight operations could be lost at a number of airports in New York as a result of automatic federal spending cuts.
Overnight shifts at Albany International could be impacted. The FAA is accepting comments from airport executives until March 13th and then issuing a final list on the 18th.
Across the country, 238 airports are on the tower closing list; and, 72 towers could lose overnight shifts.
