COLONIE, N.Y. -- Providing customers with an enhanced, interactive experience is the goal of the new Time Warner Cable store in Colonie Center.

Time Warner Cable executives and local leaders attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new store. The store gives customers the opportunity to learn about Time Warner Cable's latest technology, apps, and services in a hands-on environment.

TWC officials said it's also a convenient location for many.

"This is really improving the customer experience, by letting them come into our store and experience center. So, they can do hands-on product demonstrations. They can look at all the products we have," said Steve Trippe, Area Vice President for TWC.

"The interactive quality of this setting, where people get the hands on feel of change and technology innovation is very important,” said Rep. Paul Tonko, 20th Congressional District.

The Colonie Center store is the largest experiential store to open. Time Warner Cable plans to expand the concept to other stores nationally over the next several years.
