ALBANY, N.Y. -- The man police say is responsible for stabbing a state trooper in the neck over the weekend has been indicted.
The Albany County District Attorney's Office said Eric Green was indicted on several felony charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault upon a police officer, and robbery.
Green was arrested on Tuesday, just two days after State Police said he attacked Trooper Rodney Smith at the Empire State Plaza. Smith was on duty at the time.
The district attorney's office said an arraignment date will be scheduled early next week.
Green remains in custody without bail.
