WALLKILL, N.Y. -- This latest round of snow has many people saying spring can't come soon enough.
"I was ready for spring, I was ready for spring yesterday, but we got all this here today," said Ernie Lux, Town of Wallkill resident.
The storm dropped several inches of wet heavy snow throughout the area overnight. It continued to snow throughout the morning and into the afternoon, making for a messy commute and clean up.
Now that the calendar has turned to March, people we spoke to said they're ready for the weather to change.
"I'm glad tomorrow and Sunday is going to be warm and this all be getting done with and be all cleared up, hopefully, unless we have another batch," said Lux.
On the bright side, there may not be snow on the ground for that much longer. The forecast for this weekend is sunny with temperatures will be in the 50s.
