QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- Two people are recovering after a rollover accident on Quaker Road in Queensbury Friday.

Warren County Sheriff’s deputies said around 6 p.m. Ftiday, a car swerved and cut off a Subaru being driven by Amanda D. Halse, 20 of Fort Ann.

Trying to avoid being hit, deputies said Halse swerved into the median; but instead, hit a Mercury, flipping her car.

Halse and her 15-year-old sister, who was in the car with her, were taken to Glens Falls Hospital.

Deputies said the driver who caused the crash was reportedly texting. They also said the driver did not stop and continued east on Quaker Road.
