CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Well, the warmer temperatures on Saturday was certainly a welcomed change for people in the Capital Region.

There were a lot of people out walking their dogs, jogging, and playing catch in Washington Square Park. Even with snow on the ground, many did so without winter jackets.

It's a stark change from Friday, when the area saw six and a half inches of snow. In fact, it was the snowiest March 8th ever recorded in Albany, according to the United States National Weather Service. So, many took advantage of the sun on Saturday.

The good news is that our meteorologists said this warmer weather will carry over into Sunday, with temps reaching 50 degrees.
