BETHLEHEM, N.Y. -- Taxpayers in the Bethlehem Central District vote today on two propositions. One would improve main facilities at a cost capped around $20 million. Up to $3.5 million in track and field improvements is also up for a vote.
The district looks to add synthetic turf, new lighting and bleachers to Van Dyke Field. Facilities improvements would include a new roof, technology upgrades, and what the district is calling "safety items."
Both referendums would cost taxpayers about $20 per $100,000 of assessed home value.
