ALBANY, N.Y. -- The man accused of stabbing a State Trooper is set to be arraigned Wednesday.
Eric Green was charged by a grand jury with attempted murder, assault, aggravated assault of a police officer, and two counts of robbery. He's accused of stabbing Trooper Rodney Smith in the neck on March 3rd at the Empire State Plaza.
Smith needed emergency surgery following the attack.
Green was arrested two days later in Albany. He'll appear Wednesday at the Albany County Judicial Center in front of Judge Herrick.
