ALBANY, N.Y. -- The State University at New York appears to be getting the ball rolling on a new campus.
According to the Associated Press, a written proposal shows SUNY is looking to create a campus geared toward high tech jobs. The proposal would need to be approved by the SUNY Board of Trustees, the governor, and the state legislature.
The move would essentially divert the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering away from the University at Albany and become its own campus.
If approved, it would be the 65th SUNY campus.
