ALBANY, N.Y. -- Thousands are planning to come to Albany Saturday for the annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
While preparations are underway, the city is making sure there is not a repeat of the keg and eggs incident from two years ago.
The city is beefing up police presence with a mobile command center set up near the parade route.
City officials said they want people to have fun, but also want to make sure they stay safe.
The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. at the corner of Central and Quail. It will then head down Central, turn at City Hall, and make its way down Washington Avenue towards State Street.
