SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- This weekend is the second gun show of the year at the Saratoga Springs City Center. And just like the last show, this one also comes with controversy.

Being hosted by the NEACA, this weekend's show will be following new "Model Gun Show Procedures" developed by the Attorney General's office.

The procedures include a process that ensures all guns brought into the show by private sellers are tagged so that, when leaving the show, authorities know if a proper background check was performed. Three groups still plan to protest Saturday’s show, including Saratogians for Gun Safety.

Organizers are expecting about 3,000 people to attend the show this weekend. Supporters of the show said it brings tens of thousands of dollars worth of revenue to the area.
