SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- A Fort Edward man is arrested after police say he did several thousand dollars worth of damage to Saratoga Springs City Hall.
Around 4:40 a.m. Saturday, police heard loud noises from the second floor of City Hall.
When they checked it out, they found Matthew Zecchini, 21, running with a fire extinguisher. After a chase, officers caught up with him. But not before, according to police, he shot off the extinguisher and smashed a set of glass doors.
Police said it'll cost over $2,500 to fix everything. Zecchini's in jail, facing two felonies and a misdemeanor.
