TROY, N.Y. -- A seventh person has been arraigned in connection to the Takim Smith murder case.
Chawn Sheares, 16, appeared before a judge at Rensselaer County Court Monday afternoon.
Sheares has been charged with second degree murder, two counts of robbery and one count each of conspiracy and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the February 4th stabbing death of Takim Smith at the Corliss Park Apartments in Troy.
Six other teens are facing similar charges in the case.
