MOHAWK VALLEY, N.Y. -- The Oppenheim-Ephratah and St. Johnsville Board of Education election scheduled for Tuesday is now postponed.

Last December, residents voted to approve a merger between the schools. Then in January, residents voted to decide how many members should be on the new school board, and how long their terms should be.

A vote was scheduled for Tuesday to decide who will serve on the board but school officials have postponed the election because of the weather. A makeup date has not yet been decided.
