ALBANY, N.Y. -- The UAlbany women will take on their rivals, North Carolina, in the NCAA Tournament.

There was plenty of excitement at the SEFCU Arena at UAlbany as the 14 seeded Great Danes learned they would be headed to Newark, Delaware, to take on the 3 seeded Tar Heels. The game is set for Sunday at 2:30.

Our Seth Leavitt talked to Head Coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, who says they are happy to be playing, no matter what seed.

"You know, because last year, we were the same seed, I was hoping for a higher seed, but it just depends on how the bracket rolls out and obviously, it's close enough to drive so some of our fans and families can come and so we're excited about that and I don't think it matters who we play. We just want to play again and we're glad that our name popped up on the screen. A lot of teams don't have that opportunity, but we're glad we get to go," said Abrahamson-Henderson.

The UAlbany men are also headed to the big dance. They will be taking on Duke in Philadelphia on Friday.

This is the first time both teams are headed to the dance in the same year.
