SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- We'll have to wait at least one more day to learn the fate of James Wells, the man accused of killing Schenectady High School basketball star Eddie Stanley.
The jury has been sent home for the night and will return at 9:15 a.m. Thursday.
Wednesday marked day two of deliberations.
During the six week long trial, prosecutors argued Wells killed Stanley at a house party following a fight over missing car keys back in June of 2011. He faces eleven charges, including second degree murder.
The defense, meanwhile, argued the credibility of prosecution witnesses who said they saw Wells fire the gun. The attorney for Wells says the witnesses were all given immunity or reduced time on their own criminal cases.
