ALBANY, N.Y. -- The UAlbany men's basketball team is gearing up for its first game of the NCAA tournament.

The Great Danes hit the road Wednesday afternoon. They're taking on the Duke Blue Devils Friday in Philadelphia.

UAlbany clinched a berth to the Big Dance after winning the America East title. But it'll be a tough hill to climb for the Great Danes. They are going in as a 15 seed, while the Blue Devils are a two seed.

Coach Will Brown said, "I've got migraines after watching Duke. I think they're terrific. I mean, they can really score the basketball, and we have to do a great job of controlling tempo. We understand what they're trying to do offensively, what they're trying to do defensively. It's another thing to stop them. We have to play really well."

Tip-off is Friday at 12:15 p.m.

Sports Director Marisa Jacques speaks with Coach Will Brown.
