Man arrested for using counterfeit money

ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Albany man has been arrested, accused of using counterfeit bills.

Bethlehem Police says David Pearson Jr., 50, tried to use the counterfeit money at a Mr. Subb in Glenmont. Police say they also found additional bills on Pearson.

Pearson was arraigned and sent to Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.

Bethlehem detectives are working with the New York State Police and Secret Service to see if Pearson is responsible for any other cases in the Capital District.
