ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man is sentenced to 15.5 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision for the shooting death of a 25-year-old man.
Jallah Drake pleaded guilty last month to manslaughter charges. He was one of four people arrested in connection with the shooting.
The other three men pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon and received a sentence of time served.
Police said back in November 2011, Richard Gibbs was shot and killed inside his car at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Clinton Street in Albany.
Police said his car then hit a porch and crashed into a light post down the street.
