NEW YORK -- Several people who helped authorities capture Ralph "Bucky" Phillips during the largest manhunt in state history have collected reward money.
We received word today that the New York State Troopers PBA quietly paid out the settlements in April.
A couple and three individuals shared a $100,000 reward for the information they shared with police and the FBI.

Phillips shot three state troopers, one of them fatally, during a five-month manhunt in 2006.
A $350,000 reward was initially pledged, but the PBA said Phillips ended up surrendering and no one tip actually led to his capture.
Phillips was sentenced to life in prison.
