Poll shows Lazio has a shaky lead for GOP primary

Rick Lazio is maintaining a lead over Carl Paladino in the race for the Republican nomination for governor in New York, but it could be shaky. Lazio, a former congressman, has a 47 percent to 35 percent lead over Paladino, a millionaire Buffalo developer. But the Quinnipiac University poll shows a lot of unsure Republicans as the Sept. 14 primary approaches.
