COLONIE, N.Y. -- An Albany woman is behind bars, after police say she was found with drugs while violating her probation. Andrea Amanatides, 38, was sentenced to six months for a violation of probation out of the Town of Colonie Court.

Police say they found more than 200 prescription drug pills as well as heroin. They say they found the drugs after they fell out of a condom while she was waiting to be processed. They say the drugs found include Oxycontin, Valium, Ambien, Adderall, and more.

Amanatides now faces five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as a misdemeanor and promoting prison contraband. She remains in Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
