NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- New York City Police say a seven-year-old Poughkeepsie boy was killed after his body was found in a Brooklyn apartment.
NYPD says that officers were called to a building just before midnight Monday night to reports of a foul odor coming from an apartment. Inside, they found Jaquan Cox, 7, and David Sherrod, 44, and Alma Cox, 51, both of Brooklyn, dead, all with gunshot wounds to the head.
Neighbors say they were last seen sometime Saturday night at a neighborhood block party and some neighbors heard them argue frequently.
