Cloudy, Cooler, Rain Spreads
Occasional Showers, More Humid Through Midweek
As high pressure weakens and retreats off the New England coast showers are spreading northward through the Hudson Valley and Catskills with cooler temperatures but higher humidity. Included will be a few locally heavy downpours and maybe a rumble of thunder through the evening, tapering to occasional showers, some fog and drizzle later tonight. We'll see variable clouds and scattered showers through midweek, when there could be a few more breaks of sun. Temps won't be as warm, reaching only the 60s in most areas today, rising from the 70s tomorrow to near 80 again by mid week with overnight lows around 60 as humidity levels come up. Right now it looks like the warmup into the 80s will continue into the Holiday Weekend.
