Man charged with murder in Albany stabbing
ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man is facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of his neighbor on Bradford Street.
Carl Taylor, 44, is charged with second-degree murder and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
According to witnesses, Taylor and the 28-year-old victim were arguing outside 98 Bradford Street shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday. They said Taylor went back inside his house, then came back out and stabbed the victim in the chest.

When police arrived, they found the victim on the ground. He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he later died. Taylor was taken into custody later that evening.
Albany Public Safety Spokesperson James Miller said, "We do know that they're neighbors. How long they've lived there I couldn't really tell you. We don't know exactly what the fight was about. That's one thing we'll hopefully learn later on. But by witnesses' accounts it seems like it was an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation and then led up to the stabbing."
Taylor is being held without bail. A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
